Version 4 of Graphic Rating

You’ve noticed that in the last few days, Graphic Rating looks different. That is because we decided to improve the user interface and user experience of our site. And with this decision came a new design. A design that has a new approach but with elements from the previous design in order to maintain a link between versions. There are lots of new improvements that will try to make our reader happier.

New Logo
To sustain better the idea of Graphic Rating, we’ve decided to change the logo and give it a new look. A new and slick font was used to define our name and also a graphic element was embedded into the font. The five starts are the stars used in rating – sites, redesigns, applications etc. So with this new logo composed of our name and sustained by the rating stars, we hope to be more recognizable and to give a better definition of our work.

New website
The main feature of the new user interface is space. Now the site has a proper spacing and it is more towards the graphic side. We’ve chosen to make graphic elements like the read more button and place them in the layout for a good balance between content and graphics. Also a new font was picked for the content of the site in order to have an enjoyable reading experience. For that we made the background white and from now on the content will be separated by keywords or key phrases.

For you to have a better user experience, we decided to cut the displayed text on the front page. The decision was made so that the website will load faster and for you to easily pick the content you want to read. So, in this case you will wait less and you will find your desired article faster. Other features were also developed and implemented in the new layout, but for that we would like you to check and you are free to send us feedback regarding the graphic design, user experience or content.

Cheers and see you on Graphic Rating!
